Becoming Unquittable? We’re Not Here to Guilt You Into Staying (Or Leaving)

Jul 12 / Jon Collier

Yeah, We Get Why You’re Asking

Look, we get the question.

“Becoming Unquittable? Sounds catchy… but is this just another program that’s gonna guilt me into staying when I’ve already got one foot out the sanctuary door?”

Church’s Favorite Move: More Guilt + Spiritual Duct Tape

Yeah. Church has a long, ugly track record of doing exactly that. “Just serve harder.” “Just forgive and move on.” “Just show up, and God will fix it.” Meanwhile, you’re over here quietly bleeding out — broken, burnt out, or bored senseless — and the only thing anyone offers is more spiritual duct tape and a fresh sign-up sheet.

We’re Not That

We’re not that.

Unquittable Church exists to help people identify what they actually need in these seasons instead of slapping another layer of guilt on top of the exhaustion. No bait-and-switch. No hidden “just don’t quit” agenda.

What This Actually Looks Like in Real Life

Stay — But Stay Differently

Some people stay in their current church — but they stay differently. They finally get the tools to name what’s been killing them and start rebuilding with safety, rest, and purpose instead of slow self-destruction.

Take Some Actual Breathing Room

Some people need space. They take 2–3 months and use the Spiritual Rhythms we walk through in the workshop — Pursuing, Praying, Proclaiming, Providing, and Partying — as a way to stay healthy and connected to Jesus during an intentional sabbatical. Not ghosting. Not rebellion. Just breathing room without the shame spiral.

Sometimes Leaving Is the Wisest Move

And yeah — some people leave. They discern that their current community isn’t safe or life-giving anymore, and the healthiest next step is to walk away. We’re not going to try to talk you out of that. We’re not the spiritual version of that ex who keeps texting “but we had so much potential.”

The Real Goal Is Smaller Than Most Programs

Wherever you land, our only real goal is this:

Help you learn how to live out healthy spiritual rhythms with 2–3 people you actually feel safe around. Not a massive program. Not another committee. Not more performative Christianity. Just real, repeatable practices with a tiny crew who won’t weaponize your honesty or demand you perform your way back to “fine.”

We’re Not Trying to Keep You Anywhere

Because at the end of the day we’re not trying to keep you anywhere.
We’re trying to help you get whole — so you can actually follow Jesus without slowly dying inside.

You’re Allowed to Want More Than Slow Death

If that sounds like oxygen instead of another obligation, start with the free Unquittable Pulse assessment. Or grab the book Becoming Unquittable. Or just begin with those two safe people and the rhythms.
No pressure. No guilt trip. Just a path that actually fits where you are right now.

You’re allowed to want more than slow death in the name of faithfulness.

We’re here when you’re ready to find it.
